The Arkona Foot Clinic was established in 2008 by Ross Teeple, Chiropodist, as a comprehensive foot treatment centre for people of all ages.

Nestled in the heart of Arkona, the Arkona Foot Clinic serves the broader communities  and rural population of Lambton / Middlesex region.

Here we specialize in the treatment of a wide range of foot disorders with professional foot care, custom orthotic management, and orthopedic footwear.

Foot Treatment

We treat a variety of foot disorders such as:

• Nail conditions (ingrown, thick , fungal , surgical, etc.)
• Surgical treatment of ingrown toenails
• Corns, calluses, warts, cracked skin
• Diabetic/Arthritic foot care, wound care
• Structural foot conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, high or flat feet
• Pain and strain including heel spur, plantar fasciitis, arch or joint pain
• Associated alignment issues causing leg, knee, hip and back pain

Custom Orthotics

Unique to the Arkona Foot Clinic is the in-house Orthotic Lab. Here, the 3 dimensional plaster casts are manufactured into functional insoles to ensure they are tailored exactly for each clients needs.

Ross also makes custom moulded toe devices to eliminate pressure points causing painful toe symptoms.

Orthopedic Footwear

We offer a wide range of functional/fashionable orthopedic shoes to accommodate difficult foot fitting needs. Extra depth/width and orthopedic support shoes are available. The shoes are fitted to accommodate and supplement custom orthotic insoles and modifications are designed for each clients needs.

Brands include: Drew, Apex, Cambrian, Fidelio, Portofino, and Keen amongst others.

Ross Teeple D.Ch,  is a Chiropodist ( Registered Foot Specialist) with over 20 years experience in treating feet.

After graduating from the Ontario Chiropody Program (Michener Institute Toronto) in 1995, Ross has practised in a variety of clinic settings, both public and private including: hospitals in Kitchener/Waterloo, London, Petrolia, and health centres in North Lambton, Kettle Point and Mclauchllin Wellness clinic in Blenheim.

Ross is a long time resident of the Arkona area and he and his family have been an active part of a growing health care focus in the area. Ross enjoys the satisfaction of helping each client by offering a unique expertise in the area of foot treatment and friendly advise.

An active member of the College of Chiropodists, Ontario Society of Chiropodists and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.
